General Information
Q: How early should I book?
A: You can book with us whenever you like, however we operate on a first come first serve basis when it comes to available dates. Discos normally tend to get booked a month in advance, but if a date is free 2 days in advance you are still welcome to it! In busier times of the year (Christmas, Halloween, New Years Eve etc) we have been booked 3 - 12 months + in advance, so book early to avoid disappointment!


Q: What happens after we have made our initial phone booking?
A: We will send you out a confirmation by e-mail or post stating all the discussed details. This allows you to check and make sure there have been no misunderstandings, and is also a reference document.


Q: What sets Soundz Sensational apart from other mobile discos?
A: Soundz Sensational has been established for many years, and over this time we have gained much experience. All our events are fully customised around you and your music preferences, we will also perform any MC services you may need for any announcements / events occurring (if you do not wish to do so yourself!), but most importantly each disco is individually tailored to meet YOUR needs! We are very flexible and always happy to help to make your event as memorable as possible!


Q: I’ve been told by my venue that that any DJ must possess public liability insurance, will this be a problem?
A: Soundz Sensational is a member of The Alliance of Mobile & Party DJs. Membership includes Public & Product Liability Insurance with Royal & SunAlliance. Indemnity amount £10,000,000, Policy Number RSAP1996021200 (more details available upon request)

Technical Bits!
Q. What time do you need access to the venue?
A. We ask for access to the venue between 1 hour and 2 hours before the starting time depending on package, unless agreed otherwise.


Q. How many power sockets do you need?
A. We do not draw that much power so we ask for two separate standard 13amp sockets.


Q. Do you need tables?
A. Depending on the venue we typically require a minimum of one ‘desk’ sized table to setup our equipment, if you are unsure or there may be a problem then please contact us.


Q. How long does it take you to pack up?
A. We can usually get packed up and out of a venue in approximately 45 minutes, depending on the circumstances (i.e. if the venue has stairs, how close we can park & how quickly guests leave etc.)

On The Day...
Q: Do you use smoke machines and strobe lighting?
A: We do use smoke machines, however if a venue does not allow the use of smoke machines due to sensitive fire alarms etc this is no problem, just let us know!

We also have a strobe light, although this is only used at larger venues if you or anyone at your disco is sensitive to strobe lighting or is uncomfortable with the strobe light please let us know and it will not be used.


Q: Can you keep a secret?!
A: If a surprise party is what you’re after just let us know at the initial booking and we will use the utmost discretion whilst discussing details and setting up the equipment on the night!
